The Neuromodulation Foundation was incorporated in Maryland in 2007 as a non-profit organized for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes and has received tax-exempt status as a public charity under IRS code 501(c)(3).

The mission of the Foundation is to contribute to the improvement of the health and well-being of patients suffering from various debilitating neurological and medical conditions by providing education about neuromodulation and reporting the results of scientific research.
